Fazendo um mundo melhor/Doing a better world

Esta é uma história que meu pai me contou, ela pode refletir que se cada um fizer sua parte no nosso planeta como o beija flor podemos salva-lo!
História é:

“Certo dia, houve um incêndio na floresta, e todas as áreas foram cercadas por um fogo denso. O vento estava por todos os lados e os animais não tinham para onde escapar e foram barrados a frente de um rio.

- “O que vamos fazer?” – Dizia o elefante.
- “E agora?” – Dizia o leão.
- “Vamos atravessar o rio.” – Dizia outro. Mas também havia fogo na outra margem…

E a confusão se instalou geral. As aves não conseguiam voar alto e de repente todos pararam e viram que o beija-flor ia até a margem do rio, mergulhava, pegava em seu bico algumas gotas de água e voava até o fogo e deixava a gotinha cair sobre as labaredas.

O elefante virou e falou:
- “Você está louco, beija-flor? Você acha que esta simples gotinha poderá apagar um incêndio tão grande?”

O Beija-flor respondeu:
- “Com certeza não, mas eu estou fazendo a minha parte, e, se cada um fizer a sua, com certeza algo conseguiremos.”

This is a story my father told me, she might reflect that if everyone does their part in our planet as the hummingbird can save him!
History is

One day there was a forest fire, and all areas were surrounded by a dense fire. The wind was everywhere and the animals had nowhere to escape and were stopped in front of a river.

- “What do we do?” – Said the elephant.
- “And now?” – Said the lion.
- “Let’s cross the river.” – Said another. But there was fire on the other side …

And the general confusion arose. The birds could not fly high and suddenly they all stopped and saw the hummingbird went to the river bank, dived, picked up in his beak a few drops of water and flew into the fire and let the droplet falls on the flames.

The elephant turned and said:
- “You’re crazy, hummingbird? Do you think this single droplet can extinguish a fire so big?”

The Beija-flor said:
- “Surely not, but I’m doing my part, and if each one does its certainly something we will.”
